Rumoured to be the warmest days of the year so far*, this weekend brings more than just sunshine – it sees the return of The Vintage Event on both Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, it’s Pratts and Payne in Streatham who play host to stall-after-stall of vintage clothing, accessories and more (from 12 – 5 pm) and then on Sunday, the fair heads over to it’s birthplace – Balham Bowls Club (from 12 – 6 pm).
We’ll be at the Bowls Club getting into the swing of things, no doubt enjoying refreshments from Cake Me Caroline– their cupcakes, Vicky sponge and chocolate treats are to die for – all while attempting to sell as opposed to snapping up all the goodies for sale.
Come along for a bit of shopping, drinking (responsibly, of course) and to lap up the first of the proper sunshine. See you there!

The one-shoulder strap is comprised of illusion cutouts that lead into the fully-encrusted bust. The midriff features a web of twinkling accents that stretches down each side of the skirt. Gauzy material transforms this look into an evening gown like no other.
The world’s first 3D printed dress was unveiled at the Ace Hotel in NYC and modelled by burlesque performer Dita Von Teese. The futuristic dress was designed entirely on an iPad and is constructed of 17 individual parts that are held together by 3,000 joints.
Designer Michael Schmidt and architect Francis Bitonti created the dress specifically for Dita using hardened powdered nylon that allows for movement. You may also know Schmidt for designing Lady Gaga’s famous bubble dress.

Check out this amazing shirt bang on trend this Spring/Summer, photo was taken yesterday outside our boutique. This shirt has been crafted from chiffon fabric. The details include: a classic collar, a stud embellished design to the collar and cuffs, hided buttons through front, cut-out shoulders and buttoned cuffs. This shirt has been cut with a regular fit.
